The annual Las Doradas luncheon, fundraiser and fashion show will be held on Saturday, October 5. A champagne tea with sandwiches and desserts made by members will be enjoyed at a home with a fabulous “forever view.”
Since its founding in 1963, the organization made up of mostly Pacific Palisades women have raised more than $600,000 for children at risk. With 20 active members and 52 supportive patrons, Las Doradas members hope to raise $30,000 this year for the Youth Association.
In addition to the catered lunch and a pop-up shop, which will include lovely personal and home boutique items, there will be a silent auction and raffle drawings. The grand prize is a Hawaiian vacation for two, donated by the William H. Hannon Foundation. Proceeds will benefit the Neighborhood Youth Association.
