YMCA Pumpkin Patch Opens October 1

The annual Palisades-Malibu YMCA Pumpkin Patch will open tomorrow, Thursday, October 1, and run through October 30—or until pumpkins are sold out.

In the midst of Covid-19, the opportunity to take kids to select pumpkins is a welcome return to some sort of normalcy. Buying numerous pumpkins will also be a great way to decorate your homes, while supporting the Y, which has been closed since March. All proceeds benefit the local Y, a nonprofit organization.

As always, there will be a wide selection of pumpkins to choose from at Simon Meadow, corner of Sunset Boulevard and Temescal Canyon Road. Free parking is available.

The Patch offers a hay maze and photo props. The hours are Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
