Palisades Elementary will host its annual Yee Haw Day from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, at the school, 800 Via de la Paz. The public is invited and there is free admission.
Chairs Sunny Foroosh and Shannon Soller have planned an exciting afternoon. “We will have live music on the grass, so bring your picnic blanket and enjoy one of our many food trucks,” Foroosh said.
There are pony rides, a petting zoo, go karts, a prize booth, pumpkin decorating, a “tattoo” artist and a haunted house. There will be crafts by Sew Chateau and a special performance by Fancy Feet.
Wristbands for unlimited rides are $40 and will be sold at the door. Tickets are available for the booths, drinks and cotton candy and are sold in bundles of 20 for $20.
All proceeds go directly to the school for classroom size reduction and enrichment activities.
Come on out and have a Yee Haw day!
