This is a map of street closures. Some may close as early as 5 a.m. and others may not close until much later. CTN asked for a timeline of street closures to share but never received one. There will be NO parking on all the streets marked with yellow and you may be towed if you park there.
There are options to park in the Huntington Palisades, at the Palisades Recreation Center, in the Alphabet Streets and on Temescal.
Supposedly, there will be traffic enforcement – and those of us who evacuated during the Palisades Fire, wonder if we were see more DOT and police cars, than we did on January 7, 2025.
If you see news media, be polite and tell them how our town was allowed to burn and point out there is a memorial in the Village Green for the 12 people who perished in the fire and for all the others who passed this last year because of shock, heartbreak and trauma. Tell them how the fire destroyed the fabric of our community and no one is being held accountable.
(p.s. This editor was supposed to be on the Hannity Show that was supposed to tape here on January 7, 2026, but the show was cancelled because of national news stories. The January 8, 2025 videos and photos of all the empty streets, without firefighters, will be shared in future stories, so thank you for sending them.)
