‘Fire Safety and Preparedness’ to Be Discussed April 22
The topic for the upcoming Palisades Alliance for Seniors program is “Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness: Know What to Do.” The public is invited.
LAFD Captain II John Ignatczyk, a disaster preparedness officer, will speak at the 10:30 meeting, held on Monday, April 22, at the Palisades Library community room, 861 Alma Real.
Ignatczyk will discuss ways to stay safe by protecting, preparing and planning. Preparation and organization can make the difference when dealing with fires and other emergencies, such as earthquakes.
