Monthly Board Meeting to Be Held Tomorrow:
The Pacific Palisades Business Improvement District (BID) will hold its monthly meeting at 9 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, at the Chamber of Commerce Officer, 15330 Antioch Street. The public is invited.
Board President Rick Lemmo (Rick Caruso’s Senior Vice President of Community Relations) will introduce board members: Vice President Shaun Malek (Triwell Properties); Leland Ford (Leland Ford & Associates, which oversees Ralph’s and Norris property); Susan Carroll (proprietor of Gift Garden Antiques, who represents her landlord Dale Van Vlack); Bob Benton (Chamber of Commerce); Kevin Niles (American Legion); David Peterson (P.R.I.D.E.) and Manuel Pardo (Village School).
Councilman Bonin’s field deputy Lisa Cahill, LAPD Senior Lead Officer Michael Moore and Chrysalis Representative Eleni Polakoff will give reports.
The Ad Hoc Committee for reformation of the BID (Lemmo and Elliot Zorensky) will introduce the company selected to rewrite the BID: New City America’s Marco Li Mandri.
Old Business: Pardo will give a financial update and Peterson will give a report on the proposed parking meter money from DOT.
New Business: Ryan Robles, of Athen Services will explain that Assembly Bill 1826 will require businesses and multifamily dwellings to separate organic waste from the trash.
