February 12, 1960 – March 30, 2020
Julie Colton Myers, 60, of Pacific Palisades, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 30, in a car accident.
Born in Los Angeles to Nate and Adrienne, Julie graduated from Beverly Hills High School in 1978. She receive a bachelor’s degree from UCLA, where she cultivated her passion for art and creativity. Some of Julie’s fondest memories included spending summers at Camp Hess Kramer, trips to Disneyland, and enjoying time with her family.
Julie was a kind and nurturing soul, who was the ultimate cheerleader for her family and friends. What made her happiest in life was doing for others and celebrating in their joy. Julie’s caring spirit lives on through her loving husband Wayne, her daughter Taryn (husband Jacob), her son Brandon, her brother Larry, her mother and father Adrienne and Nate, and her dog Bella.
Tribute donations can be made in her honor to Camp Hess Kramer, at mightycause.com/story/juliecoltonmyers.
(Editor’s note: We believe the car accident mentioned in the obit, which was published in the L.A.Times on April 4, occurred on Palisades Drive. I published the following item in CTN on March 30:
BAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENT ON PALISADES DRIVE:
There was a two-car collision with a roll-over on Palisades Drive around 1:31 p.m. today. According to LAFD spokesperson Margaret Stewart there was one person in each vehicle. She wrote that both patients had been extricated in critical condition. One was transported by air ambulance and one by ground transport. No explanation was given for the accident.)
