Pacific Palisades Senior Lead Officer Michael Moore gave his latest crime report.

Beginning of August in Pacific Palisades

Under the burglary category below, it is noted that there was a burglary on Bollinger (and there is a video of the men trying to break in). The video was sent to Pacific Palisades Senior Lead Officer Michael Moore and he replied in an August 5 email: “I’ve read the report and it states that four male Hispanics (all approximately 25 years old) entered (through a window) and burglarized victim’s home. It is unclear if the window was pried open or left unlocked. The suspects did attempt to pry open a rear door, but the report indicated the window was the point of entry.”

BURGLARY

          July 28, at 8:55 p.m., in the 800 block of Via de la Paz. The suspects (four males, no further description) cut the power to victim’s business and then pried open a door. The victim yelled at the suspects causing them to flee without taking any property.

          July 31, at 7:30 p.m., in the 16700 block of Bollinger. The suspects (four Hispanic males about 25 years old) attempted to pry open a door on victim’s home. Unable to open the door, the suspects opened a window to enter victim’s home. The suspects took jewelry and a wallet then fled in a gray Mazda SUV.

          August 4, 1:15 to 1:20 a.m., in the 15400 block of Sunset. The suspect smashed a glass door to enter victim’s business and took cigarettes.

BURGLARY/THEFT from VEHICLE

          July 23 to 24, 9:30 p.m. to 6 a.m., in the 1300 block of El Hito Circle. The suspect entered victim’s vehicle and took money, glasses and a wallet.

          July 28 to 29, 6 p.m. to 5 p.m., in the 500 block of Marquette. The suspect entered victim’s vehicle and took money, sunglasses and the vehicle registration.

August 1, 3 to 5 a.m. at Will Rogers State Beach. The suspect smashed a window on victim’s vehicle and took an iPad and cell phone.

August 1 to 2, 6 p.m. to 9 a.m., in the 16100 block of Sunset. The suspect smashed a window to enter victim’s vehicle and took vehicle keys, sports equipment and the vehicle pink slip.

DUI

August 3, 3:50 a.m. at Entrada/PCH. A 27-year-old male was arrested for DUI after being stopped for a traffic violation.

STOLEN VEHICLE

July 28, 5:20 a.m. to noon, at Sunset and Via de la Paz. The suspect took victim’s vehicle from the street.

        August 5, 1:30 a.m., at PCH and Entrada. Three Hispanic suspects (#1 female, 5’3″-5’4″, 100-120 lbs., 19-20 years old, tattoo of money bag on face, #2 female, 5′-5’2″, 160 to 170 lbs, 19-20 years, tattoo on chest, and #3 male 5’9″-5’10”, 130 to 150 lbs, 20-23 years) took victim’s vehicle after the victim left the suspects in his vehicle with the keys.

THROWING OBJECTS at a MOVING VEHICLE

          August 2, 5:30 to 5:35 p.m., at Sunset and Palisades Drive. The white male suspect (blonde hair, 6′, 150 lbs., 20/30 years) threw rocks at passing vehicles.
