A eight months after The Palisades Fire, L.A. City is hosting “ Stronger Together: Business Recovery Expo,” led by Operation HOPE.
This free expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, at the American Legion, 15247 La Cruz Drive.
According to the City, “This event aims to empower Palisades business owners, fostering their recovery, growth, and sustained success.”
Operation Hope is a national nonprofit that focuses on financial literacy and empowerment. It has a longstanding partnership with FEMA click here.
Operation HOPE will help workers and business owners through the application process for post-disaster federal relief and insurance claims. This includes assistance in obtaining payment deferrals on mortgages, small business loans, auto loans and credit cards as well as support for those who have lost important paperwork or are uninsured to navigate the recovery process. These critical services are provided at no cost through the Operation HOPE Inside Disaster initiative.
HOPE Inside Disaster is one of only a few financial emergency preparedness and recovery services in the country that is authorized to work with federal, state and local agencies as well as national non-profits.
