The Pacific Palisades Democratic Club will hold its 2022 annual meeting, via Zoom, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 30.
Five Democratic office holders will speak and answer questions from the audience. The scheduled speakers are State Senator Ben Allen, Assemblyman Richard Bloom, City Councilman Mike Bonin, L.A. County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl and Congressman Ted Lieu.
To attend, visitpalidems.org and register. Residents may choose between free or VIP tickets. With VIP admission, one can be seen/heard and ask questions directly.
The Zoom room will open at 1:30, and the elected politicians will speak from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
As a special bonus, Rep. Brad Sherman and Assemblywoman Jacqui Irwin (who both may end up representing Pacific Palisades in 2023, post redistricting), will be introduced at 3:30 p.m. Visit: palidems.org.
This event serves as the club’s official “annual meeting” (though the club holds many events throughout the year and its board meets monthly), at which the 2022 executive board candidate slate and proposed bylaw modifications will be up for ratification by club members in good standing who are present.
Is Rick Caruso going (as a member in good standing of course)? Would be interested to hear what he had to say about the PPDC leadership.
