The Friends of the Palisades Library used to hold book sales in the parking lot of the library every year. Then. . . .Covid hit and everything went on hold. Then . . . groups gradually started meeting again and traditions returned. Then . . .the book sale scheduled last month was rained out and had to be postponed.

FINALLY, organizer Seem Wolsefer said “the rain has cleared, and the Friends of the Palisades Library will hold their rescheduled book sale.” Books were be sold from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the library parking lot on Saturday, May 11 at 861 Alma Real.

All books have been generously donated by this community and include a mix of contemporary fiction, nonfiction, art books, cookbooks, special interest, children’s and young adult books.

“Books are in excellent condition and there is sure to be something for everyone,” Wolsefer said.

Cash, checks and credit cards accepted. Proceeds help the Friends continue to supplement library materials, host speaker programs and provide special initiatives for youth creative writing and art. Visit:click here.
