First Commercial Property Sold after the Palisades Fire

This building was one of four storefronts that belonged to the Lee Family on Antioch.

The burned stores on Antioch Street have not been cleared, yet.

The four storefronts at 15326 Antioch were sold to 15326 Antioch LLC on March 6 for $1,526,000. This is the first known commercial property sold after the January 7 Palisades Fire.

That property included: UPS, Katie O’Neill’s Fine Art, Hilites Hair Salon and Maven

The property, which had belonged to the Lee Family, was a 3,493-sq.ft. building on a 3,992-sq.ft. lot.

The registered agent is Farah Gozini and the business entity is based in Beverly Hills. The company, 15326 Antioch LLC was established on March 10, 2025.

Bill Bruns, former CTN Advisor and Palisades Historical Society Board Member, said that the three-generation Lee family owned that property for decades. “Lee Insurance used to occupy the corner UPS Store space, and the Lee grandson played soccer with my son in the early 1980s.”

The building, on Antioch between Via de la Paz and Swarthmore, has not been cleared of debris, yet.

Mavven had two v’s. Never had a chance to go in there; it looked like a lovely store. So sad for everyone

Hi Sue ! Thank You for this article, but also Thank You for providing the Katie O’Neill collage of art prints at the bottom.
Please run it again as it’s own stand alone entry so it is easier to retrieve.
I plan to look at this often. Katie does such marvelous work – the colors, the sunlight and shadows !
Among the Palisades Strong initiatives I suggest there be an effort to buy remaining paintings of the Palisades from her for Historical Reference – and order new commissions from her.
Perhaps, tho I can only surmise, working on fair well-paid commissions might take some of the sting out of the losses she has endured. (But it is hard to imagine the feeling of loss amount of the immense personal TIME as well as EFFORT these lost paintings represent.)
Katie is a Palisades treasure in the flesh – let’s keep her working and keep her HERE.

Jeff, I liked your thoughts about Katie’s paintings. They are so very special. You remember Kane and I who lived up the street in the condo at 816 Haverford. We met each other so many times walking our dogs. I so enjoyed Abby.
I heard what you did to save your building and the next one as well. You are a real hero. Sadly, the six units in our homeowners association have all decided not to rebuild. To think of leaving the Palisades after close to 50 years there is very sad. We will visit when things have opened up more. I heard from a woman at the Army Corps that they will not clear condos until all the single family homes in the Palisades and Malibu are cleared. When I asked how long that would be, she said about a year and a half! We’ve gone through the rubble several times, but only found our neighbors things. All the paperwork is in order and we are just waiting now. Since we are zoned for commercial development, I wonder what the future owner will come up with.
We finally landed in a house in Brentwood so we are close to the Palisades. Glad you are doing well, Jeff. Please give Abby at pat for me.
