To Movie Goers Who Show Their Ticket
Marissa Hermer, co-owner of The Draycott, the lovely, spacious restaurant adjacent to the little green park in the center of Caruso’s Palisades Village, is offering a Movie Night Special.
Patrons will receive 10 percent off their total bill when they show a ticket stub for a movie booked the SAME day.
They can use the discount for pre-movie cocktails and snacks/dinner, too.
“We will accept movie stubs or proof of purchase on the same day for movie houses in the area,” Hermer said, noting that the stub could come from Santa Monica, too.
On August 15, as part of the Maisel Day promotion, The Draycott will offer a glass of champagne for $2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 5 to 10 p.m. (Limited to one per person, walk-in and/or dine-in only. Visit: maiselday.com.)
If you have been out of town over the summer, now is the perfect time to stop by and meet the restaurant’s new chef, Josh Mason, and new matire’d Juan Ramirez.
Although the restaurant offers fine dining, children are welcomed with a special children’s menu.
Another Draycott offering is the Happy Hour from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, with glasses of wine for $9 and special cocktails for $13. A Happy Hour menu is available from 4 to 5 p.m.
This fall, the Hermers are opening their second L.A. restaurant, Olivetta, in West Hollywood. “It’s a Mediterranean sexy sister to The Draycott,” Hermer said.
