ARSON:
April 15, at 8:40 p.m. at Chautauqua and Sunset Boulevard. A 40-year-old male was arrested for arson after setting a fire at a business at Chautauqua and PCH.
BURGLARY:
April 10 to 13, 3:30 p.m. to 10 a.m., at 17300 PCH. The two white male suspects (the first was 5’8″ 130 lbs. and the second was 6′ 140 lbs.) pried open a door lock to enter victim’s business and took wine.
BURGLARY/THEFT FROM VEHICLE:
March 22 to 23, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., in the 17200 block of Sunset. The suspect entered victim’s vehicle and took a pillow, clothing and a hat.
March 24, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Will Rogers State Park Road. The suspect punched a lock to enter victim’s vehicle and took a wallet, money and credit cards.
April 3 to 5, 8 to 11 p.m., in the 17200 block of Sunset Boulevard. The suspect pried open a door to enter victim’s vehicle and took an iPad, tools and a key.
April 11, at 7 p.m., at Sunset and Via de la Paz. The suspect entered victim’s vehicle and took a wallet and credit cards.
April 14, 1:30 to 2:45 p.m., at Sunset and Los Liones. The suspect entered victim’s vehicle and took a wallet and credit cards.
April 20, 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. in the 600 block of Hightree Road. The suspect entered and ransacked victim’s vehicle but did not take any property.
STOLEN VEHICLES:
April 13 to 16, 5 p.m. to 2 p.m., in the 17200 block of Sunset. The suspect took victim’s vehicle from the street.
April 20, 9:40 to 10:40 a.m., in the 600 block of Hightree Rd. The suspect took victim’s vehicle from a driveway.
THEFT:
March 23, at 5:30 a.m., in the 17000 block of Sunset. The male suspect took victim’s surfboard from an apartment parking lot.
April 7 to 8, 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. in the 800 block of Iliff Street. The male suspect with black hair took packages from victim’s front porch.
April 11, at 5 p.m., at 17300 PCH. The 30-year-old male Hispanic suspect, with black hair, brown eyes, 5’8″ 200 lbs., entered victim’s business, took food items, and fled without paying.
April 14, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., in the 800 block of Haverford Avenue. The suspect took victim’s bicycle from a parking garage.
April 17, 12:22 p.m. in the 800 block of Via De La Paz. Two female black suspects, both about 50 years old with black hair (one about 5’6” 160 lbs. and the second 5’5” and 150 lbs.) grabbed the victim’s purse and fled the location.
VANDALISM:
April 8, 11:40 a.m. in the 15200 block of Sunset. A 30-year-old male was arrested for vandalism after damaging victim’s business signs.
April 16, 5:11 p.m., at Sunset and Allenford. A 23-year-old male was arrested for vandalism after throwing a rock at a victim’s vehicle and smashing a window.
