The event is free, but one must register to ensure there is enough food (info@PaliLTRG.org). Space is limited to the first 150 who register.
The Palisades Long-Term Recovery Group (LTRG) is hosting the event. The luncheon will also include recovery resources, such as representatives from The Wylie Center, Jewish Family Services Los Angeles, The Salvation Army and other partner organizations.
LTRG, headed by Palisadians Jim Cragg and Jessica Rogers, will also explain about Disaster Case Managers, which is available through the Long-Term Recovery Group.
A Disaster Case Manager (DCM) aids individuals who might need extra assistance with housing, insurance, or other needs. They conduct outreach and intake your information, complete a comprehensive assessment to document each client’s disaster-related unmet needs and work closely with you to develop a recovery plan and connect you with available resources.
After signing up, one will be contacted by a DCM who will: 1) Verify your information and eligibility; 2) Walk through an assessment of your needs and 3) Discuss next steps for assistance and available services click here.
