Did you eat too much candy before, during and after Halloween? Even your stretchy pants are groaning? And Thanksgiving and all the trimmings are still to come in the next few weeks?
Here’s an idea, get some exercise at the 8th Annual Paul Revere Middle School Run/Walk while helping to support a public school.
The event will be held at 9 a.m. on Sunday, November 5. Students, parents, siblings, staff, friends, families and alumni are invited run, jog, or walk a 5K on the Paul Revere campus, 1450 Allenford.
Money raised will go to the physical education department. There will be three Paul Revere Sweaters raffled off. And Revere students, if you bring your bib # to your PE Class, you will get a free pass on the mile run the following week.
Students who have graduated may want to stop by and see their former PE teachers, Paul Foxson, Mer-Mer Chen, Jerry Lafolette and Catherine Perez who will be on the campus Sunday morning.
The fee is $10 for students and $20 for all others. Or if you cannot run, you can go to the website and make a donation click here.
