Temescal Canyon Association Will Host Speakers

 

Beth Pratt will be one of the speakers at the annual Temescal Canyon Association meeting.

Temescal Canyon Association will hold its annual meeting from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 13. The meeting will be held and broadcasted in person at Rustic Canyon Recreation Center Gallery at 601 Latimer Rd. Santa Monica, CA 90402.

The two planned guest speakers should be of interest to all Pacific Palisades residents. Beth Pratt is the Regional Executive Director of the California National Wildlife Federation and Save LA Cougars.

Also speaking Richard Fink, District Superintendent for California State Parks who will address the trails and sites impacted by the Palisades Fire.

TCA, a nonprofit was founded in 1972 to prevent the sale of what is now Temescal Gateway Park for a golf driving range. It has helped preserve Temescal Canyon from a variety of threats including a cross-mountain road and has built a section of trail linking Temescal Ridge Trail to street access.
