Ronald Reagan American Legion Post 283 is hosting a community cleanup on May 10. Scott Wagenseller, past commander, and CEO of Gates Security/Palisades Patrol wrote “The Legion will host a lunch on May 10 at noon to support a community effort to clean up the town.
“If you feel your group would be interested in participating, I will arrange the lunch at the Legion, courtesy of the Legion (and provided by Palisades Garden Café),” Wagenseller said. “You would be in charge of promoting to your people and the community the vision you create to clean up the town that morning.
John Padden, President of Palisades PRIDE said, “We will be there with bells on or overalls and gloves on at least! We will represent! Should we bring our own tools, trash bags, etc?”
Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. All the necessary cleanup supplies will be supplied, but feel free to bring your own gloves if you have them.

This event is co-hosted by Gates Security, Palisades PRIDE, Palisades Village Green, American Legion Post 283, Palisades Garden Cafe and Palisades Beautiful.
