After the January fires in Altadena and Pacific Palisades leveled more than 12,000 homes and businesses, the two communities are still grappling with the lingering effects of the disaster and trying to find ways to move forward.
Air Talk host Larry Mantle will speak with guests at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, at the Broadstage, 1310 11th Street, Santa Monica. The focus will be on Pacific Palisades and surrounding communities. Mantle will speak about the what the road to rebuilding looks like and how best to navigate this new reality. Mantle has been the host of AirTalk on LAist (formerly KPCC) since April 1, 1985. It is now the longest continuously running daily talk program in the Los Angeles radio market.
Mantle also hosts the movie review and interview program FilmWeek on AirTalk, heard every Friday at 11 a.m. on LAist 89.3 and Saturday at noon.
