The Annual Marquez Knolls Block Party will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, celebrating the “Spirit of Togetherness” at 1363 Duende Lane Cul-de-Sac (off Lachman Lane). A brief program will be held at 1 p.m.
Sponsored by the Marquez Knolls Property Owners Association (MKPOA), this is an informal gathering for all residents of Marquez Knolls, as well as their friends, families, and friendly pets.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and chat with members of Traci Park’s office and discuss their concerns with members of LAFD and LAPD.
Organizers say this will be a chance to reconnect with friends and neighbors, learn more about where people live, discover who is rebuilding, and who may be moving away. Above all, it is an occasion to come together and strengthen the bonds within the neighborhood.
To help plan the event, attendees are encouraged to make reservations at www.MarquezKnolls.org. There is free parking.
There will be food trucks and vendors or attendees are welcome to bring their own picnic to share with friends and family and tables and chairs will be provided.
There will be music and information stations. Organizers look forward to seeing their neighbors and to maintaining the block party tradition.
