The one thing this little community needs and hasn’t had in a long time is a big party in the park.
That will change this Sunday with a Town Party and Booce Opening Day, hosted by the man who knows how to throw a party, Jimmy Dunne, a former Citizen of the Year.
Everyone is invited to attend, people of all ages are welcomed. Bring the kids and let them play at the new playground. The outdoor basketball courts have been redone, so even teens will have something to do.
Dunne promises there will be music, food, drinks and HAPPY!
The Palisades bocce courts, which have been repaired after the fire, are located in Veterans Garden at the Palisades Recreation Center, 851 Alma Real.
Dunne urges everyone to “come, see neighbors, visit, have fun, and start to reclaim our community. . . .and celebrate the return of bocce to the Palisades.”
