Circling the News has heard from numerous readers that their ability to vote in Council District 11 and L.A. City has been cancelled because they moved. Most moved because their homes were destroyed in the January 7 Palisades Fire. Short of propping up a tent on a dirt lot and adding a mailbox, residents will not reclaim their Palisades address. There was not a conspiracy to cancel the vote, but it happened by sending Palisadians to Orange and Ventura Counties, other parts of Los Angeles and into the South Bay.
A reader wrote: “Just to let you know that today my husband and I received notices that LA County shows us registered to vote at our temporary rental home, LA zip 90004, and NOT IN THE PALISADES.
“Up until now, every time we have checked online, we have been shown registered in the Palisades.
“I called the Secretary of State office and was told to re-register to vote using a laptop, not my phone, and that they would inform LA County. I am also trying to notify Jacqui Irwin’s office but can’t find an email for her. I have to submit a form online.
“Please share this information. Go to the CaliforniaSecretaryofState website on a laptop or computer….sos.ca.gov and scroll to elections and then go to “register to vote.”
Residents if you have a strong feeling about reelecting Traci Park, or maybe not voting for another official that may be running, please check your status.
L.A. City Council 2024-2025 Report Card
Thrive LA’s Los Angeles City Council Report Card evaluates the performance of key City Councilmembers who are up for re-election in 2026—grading them on public safety, housing, affordability, and overall quality of life.
As the heart of the region, the City of Los Angeles sets the tone for the rest of the county—and its leaders must be held to the highest standard.

Only Traci Park has common sense . The rest of them are crazy.
What is a Pacific Palisades that pays most of the tax bills for this town putting up with this crap?
