Cameron Pfizenmaier is the Chief Marketing Officer, International at Paramount+, and oversees international brand marketing for Paramount’s storied content portfolio, including franchises such as YellowstoneLandmanMoblandTulsa KingNCISMission ImpossibleYellowjacketsDoraPaw Patrol and South Park.

Now she’s stepping into a new role as the President of the Pacific Palisades Friends of the Library.

Past Friends President Laura Schneider said a July 17 announcement that “a new group of energetic and visionary leaders has stepped up to guide the Palisades Friends in this next chapter, led by our new board president, Cameron Pfizenmaier.”

Born and raised in Pasadena, Pfizenmaier is a fourth generation L.A. native. She attended Polytechnic School and went on to earn two degrees from the University of Southern California, a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in business administration.

Pfizenmaier is a frequent lecturer and mentor at the USC Marshall School of Business. Professionally, she is an award-winning marketing and brand strategy executive with more than two decades of experience in the entertainment and consumer packaged goods sectors at Fortune 50 companies such as Johnson & Johnson, 20th Century Fox and Amazon.

Since moving to the Palisades in 2015, she and husband Bart and their two children, 4 and 10, “were (and will be again) frequent and enthusiastic patrons of the Palisades Library.”

It will be an exciting time to be president because she will lead a board that will be tasked with local fundraising to aid in the rebuild of the public library, which burned in the Palisades Fire.

A temporary library book bungalow is proposed and would located on the north lawn of the Palisades Recreation Center. The bungalow could have a small browsing collection, a place for people to pick up book holds, have Wifi and perhaps even a community meeting space for the town.

Pfizenmaier served in an elected role as Governing Council parent representative at Marquez Charter Elementary School for the 2024-25 school year where her son attended school.
