Blessing of the Animals This Sunday

Pets are welcome for the blessing that will be held this Sunday.

This Sunday, January 25, La Cruz Palisades (formerly Revive LA) will host a blessing of the animals. The service begins at 11:15 and all are invited to participate in a calm community-centered time of prayer, encouragement and connection.

La Cruz Palisades is led by Pastors Joe and Cyndi Ramirez, members of American Legion Palisades Post 283, who host these Sundays as a simple, local space to reset, breathe and build community.

“Community members are invited to bring their pets, and the gathering will also include a gentle moment of remembrance for beloved animals that are no longer with us,” Ramirez said. “For those who would like a quiet way to participate, you’re welcome to bring a photo of a beloved pet to be included in the blessing and remembrance—especially for families still carrying loss from recent hardships.”

A photographer will be present to capture candid, family-friendly moments (no pressure to participate). The service will be held at Ronald Reagan American Legion Post 283, at 15247 La Cruz. If possible RSVP, so the pastors will know how many people/animals to expect Blessing of the Animals at La Cruz Palisades Tickets, Sun, Jan 25, 2026 at 11:15 AM | Eventbrite

LA Cruz Palisades offers a blend of traditional and contemporary worship. “Whether you’re confident in what you believe, unsure, exploring, or just needing a place to breathe — you’re welcome here,” the pastors said. For more information, click here.
