The Dodgers won the 2025 World Series and now it’s time to encourage the future generation of players to take the field.

The 2026 Spring PPBA season is around the corner, and registration officially opens Monday, November 17 for youth ages 3 to 14.

Since the Palisades Recreation Center will undergo construction starting in January 2026, the Pacific Palisades Baseball Association will partner with Santa Monica Pony Baseball this season.

PPBA Board President Bob Benton said “While our long-term goal is to return to our home fields for Opening Day 2027, we’re grateful and excited to have a temporary home on the Westside this spring. Santa Monica Pony is a fantastic organization, and we’re thrilled to collaborate with them.”

Games and practices will be held at Los Amigos Park, Marine Park, and John Adams Middle School, in Santa Monica. Due to limited field availability, games may be scheduled on any day of the week, Monday – Sunday.

This season, PPBA and Santa Monica Pony players will be blended together to create teams. Additionally, Santa Monica offers a Foal Division for ages 3–4, and Palisades residents are welcome to join.

Registration for PPBA players will still take place through the PPBA website (ppba.net), and fees will match the SMPB fee structure. The PPBA and SMPB Boards will work together on evaluations, coach selection, team formation, and overall coordination throughout the season to ensure a great experience for everyone involved.

Palisades will continue to have its own all-star teams.

Player evaluations are planned for the weekend of January 31 at John Adams Middle School. Opening Day will be Saturday, February 21 at Los Amigos Park. Closing Ceremonies will be held May 17.

Parents are urged to register early. With limited field space and blended rosters, there is a possibility that capacity will be reached and a waitlist started.

See you on the field. Batter up!
