Palisades YMCA Seeks Input from Residents

The Palisades YMCA and the Methodist Church next to it on Via de la Paz burned on January 8.

 

Palisades-Malibu YMCA Executive Director Jim Kirtley is seeking input from residents in shaping the future of the Lowe Family YMCA.

Kirtley writes “The YMCA is rebuilding, and we want to hear from YOU! Join us for one of our upcoming Community Engagement Listening Sessions and share your voice on what programs, services, and support matter most to our families, youth, and neighborhoods. Residents are invited to select a session and attend. Activity search | YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles

The first listening session will be held Tuesday, November 4, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Palisades Recovery Coalition, 15224 Sunset Blvd, Pacific Palisades.

The second session will be held on Thursday, November 6 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in  the Calvary Christian Waterside Room 707 Palisades Drive, Pacific Palisades.

The third and final session will be held on Wednesday, November 12, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Collins & Katz Family YMCA 1466 S Westgate Ave, LA 90025

Simon Meadow also belongs to the YMCA and suggestions are wanted for its use, in addition to a camp area, a pumpkin patch and a Christmas Tree lot.
