CVS drugstore and pharmacy located on Swarthmore, opened on August 15. The Pharmacy has reopened, too, making it easy to fill prescriptions. Additionally, since there is no local grocery store in the village, CVS is also carrying orange juice, milk cereal and other staples for people, who are newly returned, who do not want to drive out of the Palisades or to the Von’s grocery store at Sunset and PCH.
A resident wrote, “Our CVS on Swarthmore always had a selection of Pacific Palisades branded items. Now the store has added a lot more. There are so many items that they’re spread out in two different areas of the store.
“There are various styles of ball caps, shirts, tote bags, coffee mugs and more,” she wrote, noting that some of the items have Pacific Palisades or I “Heart” Pacific Palisades or some say Pacific Palisades Strong.
“This CVS truly is a hometown store and it’s good to have it back,” the resident added.
There was a famous saying coined by the late Palisadian Sylvia Phelps: “If you’re rich, you live in Beverly Hills. If you’re famous, you live in Malibu. If you’re lucky, you live in Pacific Palisades.”
Now even those who don’t live in Pacific Palisades, can look like they’re officially from the town by buying Palisades SWAG.
P.S. And even if the fire was a disaster, residents still feel lucky about living in Pacific Palisades, home to one of the strongest communities and best neighborhoods in California.

Hello,
By any chance, do you know if the Palisades Library people will be accepting books that we can donate or who to contact?
Thanks,
