Orchid Digest Speakers Day Set for June 8

The Orchid Digest Speakers Day will be from 1 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 8. Participants can come to the Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens in San Marino to hear four speakers or join the presentation virtually.

Speakers and their topics include Carol Klonowski (Vandas, A New Look),  Marc Hachadourian (To be announced), David Haelterman (Orchids of Colombia) and Scott McGregor (Growing Mediterranean Climate Orchids).

In addition to speakers there will be orchid sales, an orchid auction, a wine happy hour and dinner. Among those selling orchids will be Mitch Scheinder of New Earth Orchids, who is known for compact catts and intergeneric zygos.
