The publishing team that produces the annual Parade program for PAPA (Palisades Americanism Parade Association) is preparing a Centennial publication that celebrates the town’s 100 years in articles and photos. Advertisers are sought, with all net proceeds supporting the Historical Society’s mission.
Businesses, organizations, realtors, churches and synagogues, can sponsor a dedicated page in the publication or can buy a chronological ad ($200).
Individual residents and families can also purchase a chronological ad ($150) that includes several lines of text and the year that one’s family moved to Pacific Palisades.
The Centennial publication will be mailed to every residential and business address in Pacific Palisades before the celebration held January 15 in Temescal Canyon. Please contact advertising director Jeff Ridgway for details: jeffridgway@verizon.net. (A sample mockup is below.)
The Historical Society will hold the official Centennial celebration on Saturday, January 15, under a huge white tent (100 feet long, 50 feet wide) at Simon Meadow in Temescal Gateway Park.
The community is invited, and admission is free, but prior registration is required. Please visit pacificpalisadeshistory.org.
