A multi-vehicle car crash occurred at 7:35 p.m. on November 3 at Sunset Boulevard and N. Almar Avenue. Sunset Boulevard was closed in both directions as Los Angeles Traffic Division investigated and cleaned up accident debris.
The Los Angeles Fire Department reported that there were six patients, three were in serious condition. LAFD sent all queries regarding the collision to LAPD Traffic Division.
Several people said that there was speeding BMW on Sunset Boulevard, and said a car t-boned a Lexus sedan that was making a left turn onto Sunset from Almar.
Supposedly the BMW then collided with a van coming the opposite direction, causing the van to roll.
CTN contacted Palisades Senior Lead Officer Brian Espin, who contacted West Traffic. Espin reported “Five people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No DUI or speed racing was involved.”
CTN asked if there was a cause given for the accident.
“Traffic Division did not indicate a cause for the accident,” Espin said.
