Palisades Post Office Boxes: Additonal Mailing Information

People who had post office boxes at the facility in Pacific Palisades will not be able to access them at this location until the Post Office reopens.

Two readers supplied valuable information about Postal Boxes and Mailing Information.

POSTAL BOXES IN PALISADES:

Long-time resident Gil Dembo reached out to Post Office about gaining access to a postal box that many residents in Pacific Palisades used before the fire and received a letter from Jackie Ledezma, A/ Postmaster Pacific Palisades Post Office (310) 444-9154

Ledezma wrote: “This is in response to your inquiry regarding your PO Box service.  I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Following the Palisades fires on January 7th, we have maintained uninterrupted mail delivery operations, including PO Box services. While we are temporarily unable to operate from our original facility at 15243 La Cruz Dr, all operations have been relocated to the Rancho Park Post Office, located at 11270 Exposition Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90064.
We are continuing to deliver mail to the Pacific Palisades routes from this location and PO Box mail remains available for pickup. Customers may visit the Rancho Park Post Office and inform the front counter clerks that they are collecting mail for a Pacific Palisades PO Box.

All mail for your PO Box is currently being held at the Rancho Park Post Office and is available for pickup during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

HIGHLANDS POSTAL CENTER:

As residents move back into the Palisades,  this information may be valuable. Carmen Kalberg wrote “I’m a paralegal and work part-time from home.  I could not do my job without a post office as I mail many documents via certified mail.

“Highland Postal Center is located at 528 Palisades Drive, which is the strip mall where Starbucks, Spruzo and K-Bakery are located.  The hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The center provides all postal services as well as FedEx and UPS.”

“The manager of the center is Juan Centeno and he’s just terrific,” Kalberg said. “There are no lines and I’m in and out in a few minutes. Juan told me that as more residents return and business improves, the hours will be adjusted.”

A shout out to Dembo and Kalberg for providing residents with this necessary information.
