James McElwain, the president of the Oceanaires, an a capella chorus, that has been singing on the Westside for more than 40 years, said, “We will be sending out four barbershop quartets on Valentine’s Day.
“Forget the candy and flowers. A singing Valentine will leave them speechless,” McElwain said.
If ordered before February 11, the cost is $50 to have a quartet come to a home or office and sing two songs. The recipient will also receive a Valentine balloon and a personalized card with a message. Most who have received this gift, say its one of the most memorable they have ever received.
