Although Christmas and Hanukkah are still months away, there’s an excellent opportunity to stock up on some quality and affordable gifts.
Collections Antiques, at 15526 Antioch St. (near the Chamber of Commerce and Palisades Barbershop), is having a 50 percent-off Autumn Celebration Sale.
“We want to bring some enjoyment to a difficult time,” said Martha Strang, who owns the town’s antique store. “All clocks, pillows, artwork and furniture are 50 percent off.”
Collections Antiques, celebrating it’s 29th year, is especially known for its curated inventory of antique and vintage working clocks.
“A beautiful hand-crafted wooden clock adds a ‘heartbeat’ to any home,” Strang said, noting that “This is a perfect time to stock up on one-of-kind gift items for the holidays or for the home.”
“All other items in the shop are being given some discount as well,” said sales assistant Jeff Ridgway. “The sale includes our collection of fine books.”
