Crime: Pacific Palisades through November 14

PACIFIC PALISADES CRIME:

Senior Lead Officer Michael Moore has released the following crime report, with those that have been reported through November 14.

BURGLARY

November 6, 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., in the 700 block of Muskingum. The suspect entered victim’s home through a second-floor window and took money and jewelry.

November 7 to 8, 9 p.m. to 5:06 a.m., in the 16100 block of Sunset. The two suspects (a male Hispanic, 35, with a mustache and black hair, 5’10” 200 lbs., and a white female, 25, with blonde hair,  5’1” 140 lbs. with a tattoo on her left foot) forced entry into victim’s apartment complex, broke the mailbox lock and took victim’s mail.

November 10 to 11, 5 p.m. to 7 a.m., in the 300 block of Amalfi. The suspect pried open a window to enter victim’s home and took guitars.

November 11, 8:45 p.m., in the 15000 block of Bestor. The two suspects (a white male, 5’10” and a white male 5’8”)  jimmied open a window to enter victim’s property, but it was unknown at the time of the report if anything was taken.

BURGLARY/THEFT FROM VEHICLE

November 10 to 11, 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., in the 13100 block of Nimrod Place. The suspect entered victim’s vehicle and took the vehicle registration and insurance cards.

November 12 to 13, 8:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., in the 16400 block of Sunset Boulevard. The suspect entered victim’s vehicle and took a wallet.

November 13, 12:30 a.m., in the 1100 block of Monument Street. The female suspect entered victim’s vehicle and took a paddle tennis set.

November 14, 10:02 a.m., in the 15200 block of De Pauw. The suspects (a white male, 20, 6’ 150 lbs. and the second suspect, no further description) entered victim’s vehicle and took a purse, keys, and iPhone. The suspects fled in a white SUV.

DUI

November 9, 7:40 a.m. at Pacific Coast Highway and Coastline. A 60-year-old female was arrested for DUI after being involved in a traffic collision.

November 11, at 8 p.m., at PCH and Temescal Canyon Road. A 43-year-old female was arrested for DUI after being involved in a traffic collision.

ROBBERY

November 11, 6 p.m., at PCH/ Temescal Canyon Road. The black male suspect (6’2” with shaved head) took victim’s purse and punched victim’s face. The suspect fled the area in a gold Mercedes.

THEFT

October 15, 5 p.m. in the 17300 block of Sunset. The suspect took victim’s package from an apartment building lobby.

October 27 to 28, 7 p.m. to 10 a.m. in the 500 block of Mt. Holyoke. The suspect took victim’s jacket, wallet and sunglasses from victim’s garage.

November 10, 10 a.m., at Copra Lane. The suspect tricked victim into wiring $8,000 to Thailand to help “catch” the person trying to use victim’s Amazon account.

November 10, 12:36 p.m., in the 800 block of Haverford. The suspect called victim and said that her Venmo account had been hacked. The suspect asked for victim’s account number and was able to take money from victim’s account.

November 11, 12 to 8 a.m., in the 200 block of Amalfi. The suspect took chairs and a statue from victim’s yard.

November 12, at noon, in the 15100 block of Sunset. The suspect purchased a drone from victim using counterfeit cash.
