CRIME: Incidents Reported through October 10 in Pacific Palisades

Pacific Palisades Senior Lead Officer Michael Moore released the following crime that was reported from October 3 through October 10. To report a crime in progress, call 9-1-1. To report any non-emergency crime, call (877) 275-5273. BURGLARY/THEFT FROM VEHICLE

October 3, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Temescal Canyon Road and Sunset Boulevard. The suspect smashed a window on victim’s vehicle and took a driver license. The suspect fled the area in a black truck.

October 5, 3 a.m., in the 800 block of Via de la Paz. The five suspects (a male Hispanic, black hair, 5’4″ 170 lbs., 35 years; a male Hispanic, black hair, 5’5″ 140 lbs., 20 years, and three others with no further description) attempted to remove the catalytic converter from victim’s vehicle and fled in a grey four-door Toyota Corolla.

October 5 to 6, 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Bienveneda. The suspect punched a lock on victim’s vehicle to enter and took sunglasses.

October 7, 6:15 to 6:55 p.m., in the 500 block of Los Liones. The suspect smashed a window on victim’s vehicle and took a purse, wallet and clothing.

October 10, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Sunset Boulevard and Temescal Canyon Road. The suspect entered victim’s vehicle and took credit cards and money.

THEFT

October 5, at noon, in the 13100 block of Pontoon. The female Hispanic suspect with black hair, 5’/5’6″ 100/115 lbs., 16/20 years of age with tattoos on both forearms and lower back, took packages from victim’s front doorstep and fled in a bright blue four-door vehicle.

October 5, 5:15 to 6 p.m., at Pacific Coast Highway and Sunset Boulevard. The suspect took victim’s bicycle from the front of a market.

October 8, 6:05 p.m., in the 14800 block of Pacific Coast Highway. The 30-year-old male black suspect with black hair, brown eyes, 5’5″ 145 lbs., took food items from victim’s business.

October 10, 1 p.m., in the 17000 block of Bollinger Drive. The two suspects, one a 18-20 years old, white, brown hair 5’9” 140 pounds and the second has no further description, took a trump sign from victim’s front lawn and fled in a blue hatch back vehicle.

    Congratulations to the crime fighting hero who reported to our police the theft of an ugly garden gnome from their Bollinger front lawn!

    I’ve been doing the crime for awhile and I always remember writing white, black Hispanic.
    It’s interesting that people are now just noticing it. For example in August:
    THEFT:

    August 25, 1 p.m., in the 1000 block of Iliff St. The suspect, using an ad on Recycler.com, tricked victim into sending money for a puppy.

    August 25, in the 15400 block of Sunset. The black male suspect (30, with black hair, brown eyes, 5’10” 160 lbs.) entered victim’s business, took an alcoholic beverage and left without paying.

    August 29 to 30, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., in the 800 block of Alma Real. The suspects (two white males), kicked a glass fire extinguisher case to take victim’s fire extinguisher. The suspects fled in a 2008 Toyota SUV.
