Pacific Palisades residents have been so good about donating gently-used books for the Friends of the Library upcoming parking lot sale, that donations have to stop for now.

Friends of the Library’s Seem Wolsefer wrote, “Due to the overwhelming response received by way of excellent donations, we have decided to stop accepting donations and instead focus on preparing for our next sale.”

Wolsefer explained that they didn’t have any more room to store the high volume of books that had been donated.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 13, when the first parking lot book sale since Covid will return at the Palisades Library, 861 Alma Real Drive.

“We are deeply grateful for your donations and will begin accepting books again after our sale,” Wolsefer said. “Please do not leave donations outside of the library at any time or in the book slot. Our wonderful library staff cannot accept book donations.”

If you would like to join the fantastic community of volunteers with Friends of the Library, please email: friends@friendsofpalilibrary.org.

Friends of the Library are not accepting donations, now, but after the book sale, will resume.
