LITTLE COURTYARD

So, with regards to the little courtyard with Citibank. Daniella of Daniella coiffures who had her salon there and who managed the building, has left.i dont know the exact circumstances. I believe the rents went up and they placed a commercial broker in there to get “better” tenants. I think a lot of these landlords believe they can get higher rents because they are Caruso/adjacent. The rents were so low, for so long that the jump to market price was too much. I think the same thing happened on swarthmore, and then we ended up with carusoville. I don’t know who is right ? The land owners deserve market rent. The mom and pop places can’t afford that and at the end the community suffers.
