TOWNHALL NOT TO BE MISSED

By Sue Pascoe · February 10, 2026

Congressman Brad Sherman is hosting a telephone town hall tomorrow, Wednesday, February 11, starting at 7 p.m. His special guest will be Los Angeles Councilmember Nithya Raman, who is now running for Mayor. To participate, dial 818-214-8555 tomorrow night starting at 7 p.m. to join the discussion and as Sherman said to continue making your voice heard “from Trump’s reckless policies to efforts to rein in the out-of-control actions by ICE.” To submit a question, maybe such as how are you helping clean the Palisades Bowl to help homeowners come back or how can people rebuilding get low interest loans if they’re turned down by SBA or how do you help the people with mortgage forbearance, submit it to bradsherman.house.gov/RSVP. Should be a special event.

HOMELESS FIREAID CONTINUED

This week CTN is highlighting homeless organizations that have received FireAid money. CTN is not making judgment on the effectiveness of any of the nonprofits that received FireAid money, rather is asking if they were the appropriate venues for the funds

Union Station Homeless Corporation https://ushs.org/ received $250,000 from FireAid. On its website it states that the nonprofit is committed to providing housing solutions and connecting people to critical services and programs.” The nonprofit had a revenue of $41.2 million in 2024. Other salaries and wages were listed as $17,675,480 (45.2% of the income)
