PACIFIC PALISADES COMMUNITY COUNCIL:
The Pacific Palisades Community Council nominating committee released the names of people to guide the community over the next two years. For President, Allison Holdoff-Pohill (who will be fabulous), for Vice-President Reza Akef (who brings a great sensibility), Daphne Gronich was nominated for treasurer (her attention to detail will be great) and Caroline Nick for Secretary (bless her for taking this position). If other people want to nominate other people, that can be done until nominations close on May 28. Officers’ elections will occur on June 11, 2026. The current officers (Pres. Sue Kohl, VP Quentin Fleming, Sec. Beth Holden Garland and Tres. Jenny Li) were praised for staying on an extra year because of the 2025 Palisades Fire crisis – and they have been remarkable!
