At the beginning of April, CTN received the following message: “Happy Easter! Not sure if you’ve heard anything related to the 4th of July and if the parade might resume this year in some form . . .
“My kids had asked about it yesterday and after looking at the [Parade] website that essentially said check back later, my eldest (8th grade), said ‘maybe Sue would know.” (And sent the most delectable photo).
This editor didn’t know and reached out to Palisade Americanism Parade Association [PAPA] President Matt Rodman, who responded “We’re working on an announcement.”
Today, the letter came and YES! The 4th of July Celebration in Pacific Palisades is BACK.
