Revere Run December 7: Exercise while Supporting the School

Now is your chance to get a run in before hitting the stores for some holiday shopping. The 10th Annual Paul Revere 5K Fun Run will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 7, at the school, 1450 Allenford Avenue. Participants are asked to arrive by 8 a.m. to check in.

This is more than “just” running, because there will be a DJ, prizes, raffles and refreshments and all participants will receive a T-shirt.

As beloved PE teacher Paul Foxson said, “It will be a fun morning and a great way to jump start the morning.”

This event is open for students, parents, teachers, alumni and the greater community at large.

For Revere students, this is a win-win! By registering and running, a youth will receive a physical education “mile pass” and there will be a doughnut party for the homeroom with the most participants.

Registration is $25 and all proceeds go toward the Paul Revere P.R.I.D.E./Booster Club fund which implements programs that enhance educational experience at Revere – bringing opportunities that go beyond the standard LAUSD curriculum. https://fundraise.givesmart.com/f/5r94/n?vid=1n485z

Co-chairs for this year’s event are Revere Parents Michele Vanger, Natalie Khoury, Alana Katz and Samantha Humphries. Revere PE Teacher and Cross Country Coach Paul Foxson will once again emcee and run the event. The event’s major sponsors V&A Law Firm and Natural Pilates.

And if you can’t run and would still like to support this California Blue Ribbon School, go to the registration form and become a silver or gold sponsor.
