Recovery Expo Hosted by Palisades-Malibu Will Be Held November 23

Streets in Pacific Palisades will be closed this Sunday, November 23, for Palibu Recovery Expo. Hosted by the Palisades–Malibu (PaliBu) Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Economic Recovery, the expo will stretch from Alma Real to La Cruz Drive to Swarthmore and Sunset.

PaliBu Board Chair Ramis Sadrieh said, “This a large-scale outdoor event showcasing more than 100 exhibitors, from major companies to local nonprofits and government agencies, all focused on helping residents rebuild, recover and thrive.”

The event held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. will feature a festive street fair atmosphere—with food and families invited to stroll safely through closed streets.

Sadrieh, who is the founder of Technology for You! said that Palisades and Malibu residents will be able to speak directly to those organizations offering construction services to those offering well-being services to workforce training information to small business recovery tools.

“The Palibu Expo brings everyone—residents, businesses, and agencies into one space, to make recovery faster, simpler, and more connected,” said Maryam Zar, incoming CEO of the Palisades-Malibu Chamber of Commerce.

Malibu and Pacific Palisades residents are encouraged to attend, whether they are rebuilding, navigating insurance, repairing homes, or simply seeking information and support.
