Resilient Palisades is hosting “Our Electric Future: A Community Celebration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday November 15, at Paul Revere Middle School, 1450 Allenford. All are welcome at this free event.
There will be home hardening and electrification demonstrations that may include solar panels, battery storage, heat pumps and induction cooking. Participants will be able to test out an electric stove and see a solar-powered roof sprinkler system in action.

Camp Wildcraft will sponsor kids’ activities and family art projects. Participants will be able to build solar-powered toy cars with one’s kids.
Food will be available from The Vegan Joint (sponsored by Plant Based Treaty) and there will be music by The Amazing Music Store Band.

I am taking bids from modular home builders to site 2 structures on my double lot to which I will run a gas line to each, grandfathering the utility until sanity returns to California. Nobody is going to spend 5-7 million bucks for a waterview home with an all-electric “Chefs Kitchen”.
I hate electric. I only cook on gas
