Chance to Support Young Thespians

The cast of “Puffs” is waiting to entertain you.

Paul Revere Middle School will be performing its Fall 2025 One Acts, Puffs and Peter Pan and Wendy for one weekend only, November 1 and 2.

Puffs is based on an original comedy play by New York playwright Matt Cox. He told a reporter that he came up with the idea for Puffs on a subway ride home one night. He thought “It would have been really terrible to be another student at that magic school [Hogwarts] whenever Harry was there.” This is the story of the Puffs, who just happened to be at the school at the same time . . .and a tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world.

The second one act featured is Peter Pan and Wendy. This play is adapted from the 1911 novel by J.M. Barrie about a flying boy who refuses to grow up. When Peter Pan is spotted at the window of the Darling nursery, he tries to escape, but loses his shadow. After Wendy sews it back on, Peter invites Wendy and her two brothers to fly with him to the magical world of Neverland . . .which receives a modern twist.

Showtimes are Saturday and Sunday, November 1 and 2 at noon and at 4 p.m., at the Paul Revere Middle School Auditorium, 1450 Allenford Ave.
