Chamber Concert Will Feature New Hollywood String Quartet

Chamber Music Palisades first concert of the new season will be held this Wednesday, October 8, at 7:30 p.m. at Brentwood Presbyterian Church, at San Vicente and Bundy.  Free parking is available off Bundy.

Co-founder of Chamber Music Palisades Susan Greenberg said, “We are pleased to announce our 29th season of exciting chamber music! Our roster of musicians includes the New Hollywood String Quartet, the Los Angeles Wind and Piano Sextet, the harpist from the Hollywood Bowl and LA Phil, and a trio of violin, viola, and flute. Join us for works by Bach, Haydn, Brahms, Ravel, Gershwin, Childs, and Broughton, along with a world premiere by local film composer Lolita Ritmanis.

The ever-popular Alan Chapman, who has been the Chamber’s commentator since its  inception 29 years ago, will once again provide insights.

Season subscriptions are now on sale at cmpalisades.org.  Subscribe to all four Wednesday night concerts, October 8, December 3, February 4, 2026 and April 15 2026 and save $20, or only $120 for the season.  Tickets will be available at Will Call at the first concert.

Chamber Music Palisades was founded in 1997 by four citizens of the Los Angeles coastal community of Pacific Palisades, including two professional musicians, Chamber Music Palisades is a non-profit, public benefit corporation dedicated to the promotion and support of classical music.
