One of Pacific Palisades favorite children’s clothing store has moved to 1233 Montana Ave in Santa Monica. Prior to the fire the store was located at 1015 Swarthmore Avenue, near PaliSkates and within steps of Caruso’s Palisades Village.
Although the building survived, the inventory was damaged and unable to be salvaged.
“It’s been a long and difficult road these past eight months,” said owner Pamela Hayer, who added that inventory is arriving and that “we should be reasonably stocked. We will be carrying the same lines, which include Petit Bateau, Stella McCartney kids, Molo, Munster, Bonton and American Vintage.
Hayer has been a mainstay for children’s clothing for more than two decades in the Palisades: first as Petit Ami on Antioch/Swarthmore before moving to Swarthmore. Then the store was renamed Keetan after the owner’s then 11-year-old son. She also has two adult children, Sarena and Simran.
When the business was renamed Keeton, “We expanded our supply after traveling to New York and Paris, looking to curate a collection of new brands.”
The store carries many European designer brands.
Looking for dress clothing can be a problem, particularly if one needs an outfit for a child for special occasions, such as a wedding or birthday or a special holiday. That’s not a problem at this store.
“Customers can shop for specialty clothing as well as basics for everyday wear,” Hayer said. “We carry newborn sizes to size 14 for boys and girls.”
Store hours are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call (310) 459-001l. email: hello@keetankids.com.click here.

Sue, we visited and this store sells Jellycats! My daughter freaked out since this is one of the only stores in west LA that has this kind of inventory. She has been so sad the store was closed and was ecstatic when we found it open on Montana. They also do gift wrapping!
