Several residents have wondered about taking legal action against the City/DWP/Firefighters over the origin of the fire and the lack of firefighting in town during the January 7, 8 and 9 Palisades Fire.
Circling the News cannot recommend any law firms, but this editor has been told that there is a Palisades Legal App that has law firms’ names in it. Additionally, in the May 8 addition of the Palisadian-Post, the Boyle Law group had a one-page ad. “Palisades Fire Litigation: Important Notice Regarding Upcoming Government Claim Deadline.”
They note that there is a six-month deadline for a government claim “We at Boyle Law believe the smartest course is to have your government claims served before July 7, 2025.”
The Boyle Law firm was located at 15415 Sunset Boulevard next to the Shell Station and the building where they were located burned.
They ask people who are interested to contact them by June 7, 2025. “Please note we are not your lawyers and will take no action on your behalf until you have signed our engagement agreement. You will owe us nothing if you do not receive money.” The email they have listed is office@BoyleLaw.com or (310) 310-3995. They note that email is preferred.
Once again, Circling the News does not recommend any legal group, but checking out the app and visiting with other residents may help you decide if you want to be part of a lawsuit and if so, who you might like to sign with.
Thank you for the article on the lawsuits regarding the Palisades fire. I have tried to look up, “Palisades Legal App” but have not been successful. Is it possible to provide a more exact title or address for that? Also, thanks for all the great reporting that you do as well.
What is a “Palisades Legal App”?
