Palisades Presbyterian Church, at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and El Medio, was destroyed in the fire, as was the preschool. The structure may be gone, but services are continuing and the pastor is available to help those who might need spiritual or other support.

We at Pacific Palisades Presbyterian Church would like the community to know that we are still in business contrary to possible rumors. We are holding weekly services and are ministering to each and every member of our congregation and those who may need solace.
Pastor Grace Parks, copied on this email, is leading the pastoral care initiative and can be reached at (818) 725-1676. She is doing amazing work one life at a time.
We think that it’s important that the community has accurate information about the status of all of its churches, temples, etc. I don’t know if many Palisadians know that the community they love was really shaped by its churches, temples, other and an article might open conversations and doors for young and old alike that they might never have thought of before and might help them through the days ahead and beyond. The Palisades of the future might benefit from having churches of the future.
If you could provide even a brief sentence or two that PPPC is alive and functioning this would help dispel rumor and hearten members of our church and broader community.
(Editor’s note: Sharon Browning serviced as the co-president on the Pacific Palisades Task Force for Homelessness (PPTFH) and included a P.S. We have been immensely impacted but we are fielding requests and concerns via our website and will be sending out a News Brief to everyone hopefully within the next week.)

We are so grateful for our Presbyterian church family. The prayers and gatherings we have had since January 7th have helped us process the devastation. Life is so overwhelming and connecting with our church family is wonderful. Thank you Pastor Grace and Pastor Matt! Also, thank you Sharon Browning for your letter and thank you Sue Pascoe for posting our letters & local news.
