MIKE BONIN SUPPORTS FAIZAH

For whatever reason, this editor is on several email lists from former Councilmember Mike Bonin. On Friday he sent out the note, “Who’s going to break the news to Councilmember Traci Park that my name isn't on the ballot? You wouldn’t know it from her campaign lit, but her actual opponent is Faizah Malik. For once, Bonin makes a good point. Most conservatives running for political offices in California are constantly compared to Trump. Or as Bonin might say, “Who’s going to break the news that Trump’s name isn’t on the ballot.” Good advice Mr. Bonin . . .. Bonin even signed his email “Warmest regards.”

JUNIOR SUMMER GOLF CAMP:

Junior Summer Golf Camp, for youth ages 9-15 is now open for registration. Taught by PGA Professional Carlos Rodriguez, all aspects of the game are covered, from driving to hitting irons to putting to golf etiquette. The classes are held on the Heroes Golf Course at the West L.A. VA. Classes will be held from June 22 to July 31 (no camp July 13-17), Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Juniors may attend on a daily basis. WANT A POTHOLE FIXED?

A resident sent a link to one solution for getting potholes fixed. “Citizens are tagging over blighted areas with ‘Vote Pratt,’ betting that Mayor Karen Bass will rush to erase any sign of support for her political rival far faster than she addresses the endless decay.” Hmmm wonder if that would work on Via de la Paz?
