I wasn’t aware that heading down to a local park to investigate illicit park usage was an essential activity. Did you report yourself to councilmember Bonin’s office? Rumor has it that you have a press badge. I would like to know where that is accredited, and I’d like to see you post copies of that documentation.

    Rob,

In order to get a press pass one need credentials, or records that prove you work for a media outlet. DONE.

Make contact with press office: Councilman Mike Bonin does not speak directly to Circling the News, but rather goes through Bonin’s Public Information Officer David Graham-Caso. All City Departments have PIOs that CTN contacts and receives statements. DONE.

Covering a sporting event such as the Genesis Open requires specific credentials that CTN has applied for and received. DONE.

A government pass is needed for example if one were to be a member of The White House press corps, but free-lance reporters, newspaper reporters can interview members of the government or police without a press pass. DONE.

Newspapers and reporting are considered essential. Playing bocce with a group of friends and supporters without masks and without social distancing is not.

    Sue
